About eCure Health & Wellness

Shawn is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of eCure Wellness, Birmingham’s first nurse practitioner-owned concierge clinic redefining what modern medicine feels like. Her practice blends evidence-based medicine with luxury-level experience—offering preventive care, hormone health, and lifestyle-driven wellness for women and busy professionals.

A graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Shawn holds degrees in respiratory therapy, nursing, and advanced practice nursing, with specialized certification in sleep medicine. She began her healthcare journey in 2007 at UAB Hospital, rising from student respiratory therapist to critical-care transport and emergency-room clinician. Along the way, she co-founded a home-care company and developed a deep understanding of how fragmented care leaves patients behind.

After witnessing her own family’s struggles with preventable illness—and managing lupus herself—Shawn set out to create something different: a space where prevention feels personal and medicine meets mindfulness. eCure Wellness is her answer to a broken system—calm, private, and intentional. Every visit is unhurried. Every plan is individualized. Every patient is treated like family.

Her philosophy is simple: longevity starts with awareness. Through advanced labs, early detection, and data-driven lifestyle planning, she helps patients track their health story over time—so issues are caught before they take root.

Today, Shawn leads eCure Wellness as part clinician, part guide, and part advocate for a new era of care: one where science meets soul, and patients finally feel seen.
